If your child is self isolating or a bubble has to isolate due to Covid 19
Instructions to access home learning on Microsoft Teams
If your child has to self isolate (as they are waiting for a test result or they test positive) then please go online to your child's Office 365 account and enter their email and user name. Please access Microsoft TEAMS and look in files for an 'isolation pack'. Alternatively your child's class teacher may send a pack of work to you via ParentHub.
If a class bubble has to isolate then your child's class teacher will set work on Microsoft TEAMS. Please check the chat for scheduled lessons and to find out what the work for that day will be. Your child's class teacher will set out a timetable for the week and will deliver one 'live' lesson a day. Other lessons could have recorded video, PowerPoints with your child's class teacher doing a voice over or reference to an external website such as the Oak National Academy. For maths we will endeavour to send home the White Rose Maths Hub workbook that your child would have been working on at school to be completed at home. Your child's class teacher will post Power Point demonstartions on TEAMS for each lesson, if it is not the daily 'live' lesson.
If we have more than one class bubble isolating then the teachers will schedule their live lessons at different times of the day so that if you have one device such as a laptop, tablet or phone and more than one child, they can each access the device for the 'live' lesson.
We will send home a list of all log in details for your child for TEAMS and other websites that we will use.
